Shuai Zhang was born in Inner Mongolia, China, in 1993. He received art education from the age of six. He earned his B.A. degree from the printmaking department at the Northeast Normal University in Changchun (NENU) in 2015, He moved to Poland in 2017 and is studying at Adam Mickiewicz University (AUM) for MFA, He studied Chinese painting for five years in childhood, then began to contact Western art during high school. For this reason, SHUAI's artworks combine eastern and western aesthetics, he has learned the art of printmaking from 2012. During his studies in Poland since 2017, Shuai toured more than 20 European countries and visited famous local contemporary museums. These modern contemporary arts inspired his creative inspiration. his creation is not limited to the single technique of art since 2018. his work has crossed multiple mediums within art including drawing, printmaking, installation, photography, and video. As digital technology becomes more and more integrated into our lives, his art creations are approaching environmentally friendly and convenient digital art.
